and the greatest present i've receive this year is:
getting gold medal in state formation competition.
though, it's kinda a regret for not getting champion
but for some reasons, i'm happy with just 2nd.

for the past few years, i had bad or sad birthday,
though i still on a big smile.
i had no memory from last year about birthday.

2007 was bad as we got bronze the weekend before.
and it was teacher's day celebration in school.
we had to clean up the classrooms after preparing party for the teachers.

but this year, it's different.
it's a mix.
it rained cats and dogs while heading to school.
school flooded. =S
even the corridoor.
there's no way to get into the school without getting wet.
sheesh. alison and my shoes were wet like fish pond!
hahaa.
got mummy to get us slippers to change. =D

and good news was i get a few more marks for my bio.
muahaha.

bad news was, i have to catch up with the studies a lot a lot.
eek. i dont know many stuff and there're quite a lot of homework.

laurine and i are not used to sit in class and strive for studies.
we'd rather go dowo to the field. haha.

and i dont like my chinese teacher.
yes, i've late for handing in my chinese work.
but dont make up story and simply scold me in class!

yesterday was totally a bad day.

i had serious headache for the whole day.

i missed history and chemistry class.

i couldnt catch up the add math thingy.

i just realized i had lack bother my studies a lot.

i have too many things waiting for me to do.

i have to crack my head everyday.

i have to not think about so many things at once.

if not i'll explode.

yesterday was the day i almost will explode.

and i have to get more sleep!

after teaching the form 2s science and english,
i rushed down to my car.
i was 15 minutes late than usual.
went into the car.
shock.
bro is in it and mum disappear.
then looked around, my dad is there too.
in another car.

he came early from work.
sooooo early.
lol.

so we went and have lunch together at breeks, gurney.
then we went to popular to get my sis' stationary.
and went mph to get magazines.
this time, only seventeen.
when i was heading to the counter, i remember i wanted to get Twilight too.
so i went and looked for it and my dad called.
told us to go over to the music instruments shop.
so, we went there first.

my dad was on the phone, so we waited & waited...
finally he hung up his phone and ask me, "which one you want?"
i was shock.
"what" me.
"drums laah."
"hah?"
"which model you want? go choose. go see. "
o.O

so, the guy who work there, amy, showed me a couple of stuff and blah blah.
he suggested i get a Roland TD-9
but i didnt feel like wanting it cuz i really dont want a digital.
i prefer the normal one, which i can tune the drum head, change cymbals & drum head to any brand i like whenever i want.
but after considering many many times and listening to what my parents said and amy's advise.
i decided to get digital ones.

but i wanted TD-20
amy was shock.
LOL.
cuz the price is so NICE.
haha.
cheapest i can get is around RM20,000.
he said if i head for TD 12, i will be the 3rd owner in penang.
if i go for TD 20, i'll be the first in penang, maybe even malaysia.
haha.

so i laughed and thought again and again.
my dad was on the phone again, his work stuff..
zzzz..
so, because we bought my bro's electric guitar there before, we got discount.
hehe.
i wanted to ask for marvin's opinion first but my dad couldnt wait anymore.
he got the price he is satisfied with.
he said "then it's on. check for the stock."
i was shock that dad really wanted to buy me a drum set.

anyway, i've got a pair of free Promark sticks, chair, earphones and etc.
and this digital drum set have quite a lot of functions.
i'll show you all next time.

later on, i asked my mum when my dad wasnt around,
"why daddy suddenly thought of buying drums for me?"
cuz, you see, pmr results is not out yet what.
mum said "he wanted it since long ago. he have been considering it for months ad."
"ouh..."

i am damn happy.
hehe.
cuz the drum came in the evening.

tonight's school concert.
haha. okay let me start from morning.
i'll say in details cuz my blog is = to my diary.
i dont have a diary.
and i had loadsa memories today.
so..

for those who are interested in the band stuff only, you might wanna skip this part. so, scroll down! =)

i woke up at 7am
sleep back, woke up at 8. sleep back, woke up at 9.30.
too excited for today. haha
sleep back, finally woke up at 10.30
saw a junior's msg. replied her.
i was so happy that she asked.

and i started to get too excited ad.
bath, prepare stuff, check my uniform, ate my breakfast, sms non stop and etc etc

plan to go out at 12pm to pick the other percussionists
which is shiling, gaik sean. theresa and shelyn at Goodall (a kopitiam)
but shelyn last minute cant go.
shiling changed time.
theresa reached at 12.
gaik sean at 12.20.
both of them waited for shiling for an hour.
my mum drove me there and picked them up to gurney plaza.
shiling wasnt there yet. have to wait for her.

we supposed to be in gurney few minutes after 12
but end up reached gurney at 1pm.

sms-ed huai sheng.
suppose to meet him and sean at McD
they were eating there.
we planned to meet up
but shiling dont wanna see sean
and i start to sms again.
we went walking here and there without any target.
cuz the movie we wanted to watch, Hancock,
when i book last night, all tickets were sold out.
so we didnt know what to do.
then we went up to 7th floor to see what other movies there are.

we look here look there then walk around the children's area.
shiling wanted to go in and play

then we stood in front of Echopark..
look at people ~.~
then we kept asking, what are we going to do?
then we went to queue up at the tickets counters.
theresa alone on 1 lane while shiling, gaik sean and me another lane.
i was busy sms-ing non stop with a couple of friends.

then half way i went into theresa's lane.
hehe
ours were faster. haha. the queue were going fast.
and its our turn ad.

when they came to us, no hello no hi.
all i said was "nah, ni men de piao.." (there, this is you guys' tickets)
and walk away ad.
very SEJUK.
the 2 of them were always walking behind us.
hehe

shiling and gaik sean undecided whether to buy popcorn and drinks or not
while theresa is like usual, "cincai." "what also can."
so we end up going into the cinema without any food and drinks.
before entering the cinema, i think it was sean who called my name.
i was like, did anyone call me?
cuz he called in a different tune from what my friends usually call me.
i wasnt sure whether to turn back and see or not.
so i turned la. if he didnt call, turn back and see also no harm ma.
so he did call.
say the rest didnt introduce themselves.
cuz they only knew me and shiling.
so i said, "this cymbal eh.. that snare eh.. this weiping, that yusien."
then went in ad. movie started ad.
we ran to our seats.

so paiseh to theresa.
cuz we 4 girls, they 2 boys.
suppose shiling sit with sean eh. but end up theresa sat with huai sheng.
hoho. all so awkward.
watch a movie also cant watch nicely. have to sms

we said if lucky wanna meet up.

okay, so watch movie til end.
ngam ngam finish, lights on, laurine called me.
but i cant hear anything she said.
so i told her i'll call her back.
went out i called her. but still couldnt hear her.
i can only hear she said yun tyn..called.. drum head is here.. she 4.15 reach.. want use?.. want how?.. some thing like that.
i totally guessed with all the few words i heard.
luckily i got the correct meaning.

i was so bad. laurine talking to me.
i answered her then when she talks i talked to huai sheng and sean they all.

cuz asking back for my money. money for the tickets.

so i got back my money, we finish walking the exit lane, i finish talking with laurine.
guys went washroom, shiling went and look for her friend, then washroom.

okay so we met and we decided to go and eat.
walked round the whole gurney.

from 7th floor went down to basement, to cold storage and to food court.
went up, dont know who led the way, walk such big round to secret recipe side.

then kept on walking.
guys followed us round here and there

i say have to care our image leh.

then stood outside of sushi king. out of restaurants ad.
decided to go into sushi king while my mum called.
wanna bring us back ad.

the guys still keep on saying we didnt introduce ourself.
theresa and gaik sean still kept quiet.

then we walk out and realize wrong side.
haha
we round gurney 360 degrees.
i asked the guys "so u all want how?"
sean said "send you all back la."
while shiling said "walk on your own"
huai sheng said "you said walk on our own hah"
i say huai sheng argh, that sean say send us back means he wanna see shiling til the very last ma..

got into the car then receive msg from huai sheng ad.
waaah.. so fast meh.
just got into the car, msg lai liao.
we were so funny.
shiling sms-ed sean. huai sheng sms-ed me.

so we went to my house.
then came out to kopitiam.
then walk back. didnt eat anything.
then called Domino's delivery

bought ice cream at mini market.
took pictures.
walk back to my house.
i showed them the KLWMBC DVD.
then we started to go and bath.
pizza arrived, my rm63.85 gone ad. T.T
wanna claim from my mum ad.

then changed into our uniform and my dad fetched us to sch.

here's the part about band stuff.

we were late for taking attendance
but someone told us havent take attendance.

so we were blur
brought down our instruments and practice.
and they told us we have to make up.

luckily laurine's mum came and helped us out.
or else we have to share the indian teachers' make up stuff.
i like the way laurine's mum make up for us.
very natural.
not too dark for casual, but dark enough for on stage.
nice.

continue practice.
too tension. hands stiff.
4 mallets not successful.
and sound played were OMG.
piang piang..
then i relax myself.
then better.
carried instruments up to backstage.
omg lo.. i sweat like hell.
some more scared the make up will smear.
then stayed in auditorium to blow air-cond and rest our feet

then it was our turn.
nervous nervous.
while going to backstage, we percussion sorta shouted our slogan?! hahaa
1,2,3 oooosh!

brought instruments in, put all instruments in place.
then because we were fast enough and it was interval time so we have time to say stuff to encourage each other.
"your solo, jiayou!" "your sunshine jiayou!" "your semiquavers jiayou!"
"PERCUSSION jiayou!"

so nervous.
the MC said stuff like welcome back, symphonic band turn, blahh blah blah..
and audience started to cheer ad.
cheer til my heartbeat beats very fast.
1st, started Sam's Dixie.
we played the intro with the red curtain closed.
when it open
i was like waaah that spotlight.
i cant see my score.
i cant see conductor
i cant see my keyboard.
~.~
eyesight blur cuz i was stading 45 degrees, facing conductor,
where the spotlight shine on exactly.
i can only slightly see yun tyn's arm go down, out and up.
so, mostly based on brass and woodwinds ad..

i heard audience cheered for jiayi.
shiling, laurine and me.
and the loudest was jesmine.
haha
they didnt cheer actually, they SCREAMED!
like those screamings when people see a famous celebrities
=D

jiayi solo was woohoot!
everyone cheered for her very loud.
i syok there. haha
they were screaming and shouting and you can hear
"arrrrrgh.. jiayi! arrgrrghgh "
lol

next, A Lot of Words.
my solo part i was so nervous, my hands shaked.
cuz i cant see the conductor.
good thing no mistakes.
audiences scream non stop!
haha

then Battlestar.
once the intro come out, the audience cheered and screamed louder and louder.
i was very nervous.
cuz all the hard parts are in this song.
okay, so my continuous semiquavers played very nicely, no wrong, no out of timing.
=)
so pass ad.
next it's alto sax solo and flute solo turn which make me nervous again.
audience scream non stop. nobody heard their solo.
after alto sax solo, it's my 4 mallet grip turn.
(usually i cant grab it in time for the 1st 8 count note)
but tonight, i did it.
my 4 mallet grip sound was great.
i was so happy.
next, worry about the semiquavers again.
once again, i did it nicely.
=D
next what i worry was both hand playing semiquavers together very fast.
and guess what?
i cant play it all during all the practices.
both hand will usually end up with one hand.
but tonight, both hand, all played, no extra note, no miss note, no timing problem.
after that i have 2 bars to rest.
i was so so so so happy!!
and the audience were screaming like hell.
haha.
the screaming never stop. haha
that 2 bars, i sendiri syok there.
haha
after finish, i was so happy.
my tears like wanna drop down ad.
haha
but it didnt.

then we kept our instruments.
went auditorium to take pictures.
me and laurine went to get my camera from shelyn
i started to sms again

we went in to watch
i saw alison dancing
they changed their costume
and they wore high heels to dance
OMG
haha

huai sheng kept telling me he is in front while i dont see him
i was spotting for short, very short hair guys.
cannot say bald cuz i'll sound very bad

i told him to wave his hand then only i saw him

then the dances finish, next were all the chinese orchestra and harmonica ad.
so shelyn, laurine, yee ting and me went down to auditorium to take pictures.

we were so crazy

then huai sheng asked where are us.
i said auditorium
he asked where and i said around canteen there.
he told me they are there but i see no one outside the auditorium.

so i thought of going to canteen there and see
i walk up the stairs and they were there. 4 guys!
i was thinking, shit, im wearing make up!
i ran back to auditorium.
then i walk to there again.
and walk back, and there again.
told them to come la.
i was thinking everyone in auditorium have make up ma.
it's better than standing there to talk to them with im the only one with make up.

so everyone introduced.

another one is a horn player.
i didnt know his name until me and huai sheng sms-ed again later on.
then only i know he is jian wei.

i kept on teasing sean and shiling.
stuff like you didnt hug her and etc.

then they went back, we had a 10 minutes talk from yilin and jes.
then everyone rushed home.
10.30pm. wow. haha

i told sean he so swt. we helped him with shiling but he so cold.
and he told me "we just friends only mah.. [who doesnt knows?! haha]

my reactions was what?! huh? why? you must be kidding.
but based on last time.................i think.......
only myself know. and laurine know parts of it only.
this, i'm gonna share with her when i see her next time

i had loadsa memories today.
especially concert.
it is my 1st sch's concert night.
it is our 1st time wearing our new uniform with high heels.
=)
it is the 1st time i heard so much cheering for percussion.
thanks to yee ting, shelyn, zi qin, wei cheen and whoever who cheered for we, percussion and the band.
=D
it is the 1st time i enjoyed the cheering so so so much.
unlike state competition.
hehe

thanks to all percussionists for putting so much effort in this performance.
thanks to the form 5s for helping us out all the time.
especially helping us to persuade tc for cases like few days ago.
it's sad to see such great leaders like you all have to leave.
we will work very hard to get what we all wanted.
to get what we deserve.

相信他不是写给我的。
但看了他的那句话，我也觉得该自我反省反省吧。
应该找找办法来解决。
不要老是觉得自己不幸运。
但是，这些事我不能跟那朋友1 和朋友2 提起啦。
一提，我就毁了。
今晚，补习后，我一定要自己一个人静一静。
好好想一想该如何解决。

i've been sitting in front of the computer for hours and hours
since around 3pm.
why? because of the history project.
i have no idea how to write my history essay.
it took me 7 hours to write 6 paragraph.
well, of course, in between i did do other stuff.
because i had no idea anymore.
so i went and watch videos in youtube, read posts in voteband and etc etc.
then from there, i got a couple of points.
lol. unelievable?! believe it.
thats how the 4 paragraph come from.
hehee..

then i was downloading songs and stuff.
i tried to email a video as i said
i attached it for hours still it couldnt be uploaded.
at last i gave up around 6pm.
lol
it really took me hours.

wanna know how i finished my essay?!
i was chatting with wenzi in msn.
he's a nice guy. just knew him today.
lol
he told me a few points and thats how i did my 7th and 8th paragraph.
hehee.
i just copied what he said and lengthen it with some of my idea to become 2 paragraph.
then, laurine helped me too.
she sent me a copy of hers.
thats how i continue the rest of the essay.
i kept on using the words given by my teacher
and combine it all together to become a paragraph.
then add in some of laurine's idea.
slightly different from her actual idea.
so, at the end,
phew!~ i finished my history essay.
total, 12 paragraph.
woot!

yesterday after school,
my mum told me that my dad wanna bring my family to Tokyo, Japan
for the mid year holiday.

yay! finally i can go for holidays again.
hehee..
but will be missing practices.

my dad says we'll be leaving on 22nd of may,
it's a thursday night.
i'll miss class on friday.
will be back on 28th of may night.
dad says we'll be living in Disney Ambassador Hotel for the last two nights.
this trip, i must at least get a ride of roller coaster.
if possible, i wanna sit on all the rides except those which is too childish one.
hehee..
am so looking forward to it.
but i dont think i can get to online there.

there's so many gadgets in tokyo.
i plan to buy a handphone there but mum says
there's no use of buying a hp from tokyo cuz it wont works here in malaysia.
so, im planning to buy something which is useful and i can use it here.
