Drumometer FTW!

marvin came by today.
great to see him again.
he brought his drumometer along.
when he starts to set it up, i was like wow. seems cool.
he told me about it last night and it seems fun.

he demonstrated how it works and so.
it's a device. google it up. ; )

"The purpose of the Drumometer is to measure a drummer's technical accuracy, hand or foot speed and offer a means to visualize his/her practice routine. Drumometer does this by counting the total number of strokes a drummer can play within a preset time."

marvin set it to one minute.
it was only between jia yi and i.
we were all scared? ahahaa.

jia yi started 1st.
single strokes with traditional grip.
she managed to played 570 strokes.
which is more likely to be 142 or 143 bpm.

next was my turn, managed to play 585 strokes.
which is around 147.
that was first round.
and i won.
xD

we had the 2nd round.
mine was 623 and jiayi's was 612.
i won again.
=p

we had another round and i won again.
muahahaa.
then the other girls came and everyone tried out.
nan rou straight got 603 for the first round.
i was like omg.

jing ning was good too.
she had the difference of 51 strokes.
sweeeet!

i had another round and the devices lost count of quite a few strokes.
sad case.
gaik sean tried out either.
around 481 strokes, and the device went "dead".
it couldnt sense anymore.
=.=

maybe nan rou, jing ning and gaik sean were too "violent".
hahaa.
well, marvin tried to fix it and so.

gaik sean played 800++ strokes.
OMMGGGG.
way to go, gaik sean!

my highest counts were 661 for the day.
and i'll work on it.
; )

i wanna get that drumometer.
but it's expensive.
=S

btw, i'm going to the cinema later tonight.

here i am blogging again.
lol.
so i actually wont be so exhausted or busy til dont have time to blog.
haha.

today, two fell sick.
sad.
get well soon yeah.
=)

so we did what we have to do.
lol.
and suddenly laurine told me something,
was sort of kena "bomb".
=.=

so, when someone reach..
percussion said me til charm charm.
=/

anyway, today learnt a lot of stuff.
way good and important stuff. lol.
but, doesnt feel tiring or muscles pain or what.
just, sort of dehydrated.
lol.

then, lunch time.
percussion got enough drink this time.
cuz short of 2 person.
hehe.

but the rice, didnt feel so yummy.
i ate half only.
a lot of percussionist didnt finish it too.
partly is because of dehydrated and ad hungry til full lah.
=D

and i called ahma quite loudly.
paiseh yeah, ahma.
xD

oh and we sort of argued about whether fish ball is good for us or not.
theresa and i say it's not good cuz it's made of blah blah and will cause blah blah..
we even argued whether rice can make us fat or not til so loud.
=.=
actually, it will.
but yee ting said wont.
dont know why.
actually not argue lah. just say til too kek dong and talked til quite loud.
end up someone laughed at us.
lol.

ouh and jesmine with her service charge.
haha.
go and ask from gaik sean.
i'm broke.

we continued our session.
then it ends and harmonica people came and find me.
so phew!
i almost fell from the ladder.
i climbed so high and the ladder wasnt stable.
luckily got help from yee ting, theresa and shiling.

then shiling and i drew and wrote on the blackboard.
haha.
write til almost the whole board full.
a lot of information.

and with the hamala binti pak cik amanda by jes,
and the "why you........." by shiling.

today i kena-ed til very terrible.
everyone bullied me today.
lol. i mean percussionists lah.

then talked a lot.
my mum couldnt come and pick me up til after 3.30pm
=/
but i dont wanna stay in school alone and wait there with all the workers.
so have no choice, someone drop me home.
lol.

oh and yeah. in the car, he finally get what we meant whole day long.
haha.
but quite embarassing. =

he missed a junction on the way to my house.
so funny, wanna reverse on the main road.
and hit wiper instead of signal light.
LOL.
so i got home, safely.
yeah. my mum was quite worry.
=.=
and he got his discs.
=)

so i called another someone after i got home and drank big glass of milk.
he said can talk now but then after i asked him a question he say talk later okay or not.
=.=
i got "bomb" again.
fine then, i went and bath, bath til very long.
=p

and now blogging.
haha.

someone asked me what do i do at home usually.
actually i'm not really sure either.
cuz SORT OF no targets this holidays.
no needa study.
no nice movies and shows to watch.
hardly online.
*i'm still waiting for the man to fix my computer!*

whenever online, other then blog, check emails,
reply message, view voteband forum,
watch loadsa loadsa band videos,
i got nothing much to do anymore.

when i couldnt really answer him,
i realize i wasted my time a lot!
i felt so bad and is still feeling so bad.

i answered him seldom watch tv, just watch for a while.
he asked me online? i said my computer bomb, so hardly either.
sleep? naah. i dont sleep until 10 something or 11 one.
then study? i dont study.
then what do you do? =.= uuuhhhh...
got lah. read a little books. sometimes online a while. umm. yeah. hmm..

i'm currently still reading New Moon what.
then the books i bought when i went with laurine to popular.
but, i think spending 5 to 6 hours before sleeping and after training camp
on all this is kinda wasting my time.
sad.
but i cant find anything elso to do anymore.
oh yeah, and exercising too.
lol.

i think by next year, i should really have good schedule when school reopens.
be like when form 1 and 2.
=)
and no being like now. it's really a waste of time.

i'm gonna always remind myself to not waste time after school reopens and when i know my pmr result.
=D

ouh yeah. btw, i currently know about that Nonami for the nakamura concert thing at 8pm in berjaya hotel.
and on the other day for exchange thingy workshop in sggs.
tickets left rm50 only.
still dont know where to get the ticekts.
gonna sms people to ask.
=)

i'm going, i think!

Change of Plan For Target List

great.. =s change of planning..
i have to cut down my drumming targets.
boo hooo..
cuz having exams in two weeks time.
i can play two scores smoothly ad.
but not 100 bpm yet.
nvm.. i'll just focus on this two scores 1st.
oh, and rudiments.
others.. ignore it 1st.
have to study.
cuz i said i will study, so i will.
but if u ever realize, i didnt set a time limit for myself for studies.
hehee..
but nvm, i'll still study.

oh, and guess what?!
i studied just down.
haha
the 1st time i pick up my revision book from my cupboard.
lol.
make some quick notes and read for an hour and 30 minutes.
after i studied, my mum let me online.
ahahahaa..
next time i'll study more.
so i can online.

Targets To Hit On Drumming & Studies

My Targets

for drumming :
1) finish up the 6 new scores i got.
play it at around 100bpm smoothly in two weeks time.
hehee..
its quite hard actually, with all the flam, diddle........
but im still gonna learn / practice it.

2) all rudiments must hit at least 120bpm.
(although some are already over 120bpm.. lol)
including all the newly learned rudiments / warming up exercise.

3) improve my 4 mallets gripping
very cacat.. hehee..

thats all for the mean time.. now next..

studies :

1) read up on form 1 and form 2's history, geography, science and living skills.
my gawd!!
its so many chapters u!!
i'm physco!
cuz why on earth i will have such intension?!
hmm.. maybe i do worry about my studies. lol

2) pay more attention in class
as i always think of other stuff. hehe

3) finish up all homework and projects in time.

guess thats all.. i have no idea why i suddenly plan a targets-list on studies for myself.
weird huh?!
usually, i plan targets on drumming but not studies.
weird weird weird me!
maybe i really do worry about my year end PMR.
dont wanna fail. i actually thought of acing all my PMR test.
but sometimes, i think its impossible.
but sometimes, i think why not?! sure can.
just apply the same effort i would on band and drumming on my studies.
definitely can ace my tests.
but after thinking all, end up saying..
cannot lah. i have no interest in studies. aiyai.. i give up!
and then some more tell myself: eh! cannot give up!
very mao2 dun4 leh..

wish myself good luck and gambatteh in hitting all the targets i set for myself.

cuz nobody wish me?! lol
im so swt and starting to get crazy.
maybe its because i've been online for so many hours and still feeling bored.
lol..
