for this blog entry.. i'm just gonna talk about some of my memories and times in band.
i'll talk more about percussion.

yesterday, sunday, so dont have band practice.
but have tuition.

man, i miss training camp so much.
lol
its different when enjoying music played in my iTunes compared to enjoying music during practice.
hehee
i was thinking about past practices and stuff..
kena scold by seniors, friends ignoring me cuz of some misunderstanding, friendships, unity....
all the memories.. =D
from form 1 when i was a junior..
i dont have friends in band those day.
well, i do. but because of some misunderstanding, they kinda ignore me.
lol.
form 1 year end, slowly try to make friends and explain stuff.
til form 2, people dont misunderstand me anymore.
then became good friends.
then slowly, i became a senior.
and it was my 1st year of taking part in competition.
nervous even though i was in a formation before..
trained hard and walked the drills before when i was form 1.
whenever i think back about all those stuff..
felt happiness and sadness.
worked very hard for competition, to get things right and perfect..
etc etc etc...
ONE BAND ONE SOUND
we were in pain, still say no problem, can continue.
a very united team.
always answering "CAN".
leaders and ex-seniors always asking, " 槟华能吗？"
and we will shout " 能！！"
and shurong always asked, " 鼓队能吗？"
our answer is always " 能！！ " too.
we, as a band member sacrificed a lot of stuff.
because of band, i sacrificed a lot of things.
i'm sure i'm not the only one. almost every member did.
time, energy, studies, health, relationships, love many many more..
it's just not so simple.
all the memories.. friendships..
having fun together..
did silly stuff. haha
til now, i'll never forget what shurong did with the sausage bread.
lol. birdy. hehe
and, some kind like "gossips". wakaka.
and what sorta nicknames we gave to the banana guy.
haha.
1st we called him banana.
then because of his appearance and looks..
we called him 肥版林锋，瘦版曾志伟.
XD
sure he'll be mad at us if he ever know that.
hehe
then meddle with the towels and being a "外劳"..
lol.
and let him see our silly bad sides.
a bit fake lah. hahaa
but then it was for fun also lah after training all day.
and seeing him threw the ".........."
we "waaaaah...~~" til shock.
he was so geng.
but still keep making fun of him.
and he called me number 3.

he said "三号向前一点, 三号向前一点...." "三号... 三号...."
nobody answered or react to him.
still.. "三号...三号..."
then i turned and see who he's calling.
mana tau, its ME.

then only i know his "三号" means third bass drum.
lol
then me and shan kept laughing. heheee..
cuz he called so many times and we, nobody even look at his direction once.
=P
before competition, we were polishing instruments,
marvin bought us pizzas.
TC chase us back to class to study.
but me and laurine ran to class and ran back to auditorium and hide under the table to eat pizza.
haha
and we multiple bass drums, polish instruments and chit chat til cried.
hehe.
cuz that time our friendship too strong ad.
我们四个人的感情，友谊和默契太 geng 了.

i'll never forget this friendship.
shurong said every year's multiple bass drummers, before competition sure cry.
lol
cuz sure at least one will be graduating.
then 4 of us, one going to be missing ad, sure very sad right?!
不舍得 what. hehe.
i have a lot of memories on competition day.
still remember it was 16 of june 2007.
still remember who i saw there and everything i did there.
and after competition, everything we did. still fresh.
still remember after receiving that shocking news, we still kek diao.
[FYI, we, PCGHS percussionists had a deal.]
we kept kek diao. dont wanna lose to each other.
or else money will "fly"..haha.
cuz who lose in the deal, who have to belanja that night's steamboat.
haha. not only percussionists, but every members who went to eat the steamboat together.
that night, we were crazy.
cooked non stop in the steamboat restaurant in gurney drive.
see whose noodle taste nicer, and whose eggs are nicer.
lol
then it was raining, laurine's mum fetch us all to shurong's house to bath.
dont know 10++ to 20 people, all squeeze in 1 car
some of them.. *ahem* bath together.
laughed til i wanna siao ad.
and take note, i bath alone. yes, ALONE. not together.
haha
laurine's mum called and asked, do u all have umbrella?
cuz we'll be walking to gurney later on to meet up with the others band mate to watch movie.
shurong answered YES. HAVE HAVE.
so, thought okay, should be enough for all of us.
and when we all were leaving her house..
guess what?! she HAVE umbrella.
ONE UMBRELLA.
=.="'
we all ran to gurney drive. all wet. haha.
but it was fun la.
maybe after competition, received such BIG NEWS, all ad crazy.
then we went to the steamboat restaurant to borrow umbrellas.
lol
overnight in shurong's house.
shiling and her sis brought shan, ah put and me went to mcdonalds.
then we walked back to shurong's home.
lol.
gurney drive so quiet then.
and it was 2am++
then shan n ah put went to playground while i go back and sleep 1st.
i took up the whole mattress as it was a single bed mattress
=P
shan said she was afraid the next day when she wake up she might be blind cuz she didnt bring her contact lenses cases. lol
and woke up by doraemon song. haha
then the 2nd half year of form 2, became one of the leaders.
having all those responsibilities and stuff.
learned a lot of stuff.
how to handle what what what when what what happened.
or how to stay strong etc etc etc.
arguments, silly and funny moments, misunderstanding moments, gossip time, joke time, crap time, simply say this girl and that boy...... etc etc..
apa pun ada.
haha
then when it was almost year end, we, 8 people went ".........." place to practice.
meet new friends then.
and had new rumours.
lol
year end, me, shiling, jes, joo, yun tyn, min kar, yong qi, and yi lin
the 8 of us went genting together.
it was free all the time except for our 1st meal.
haha
so syok.
those nights didnt sleep at all.
every night 11pm ++ only got back to rooms, play games straight away til 4am++
some of them slept.
but for me, i didnt sleep at all.
it was 5 nights. lol
break record!!
6am go bath then had breakfast around 7am and work again.
work til very exhausted then back to room and play again.
haha. i wonder where did i find all those energy.
lol
eyes were like panda's eyes then.
stand also can sleep. =P
i still remember we were in a workshop,
sat in the 1st row.
14 of us, total.
listen til fell asleep.
so paiseh to the professor. we were so rude.
people teaching, we sleeping. hehe

learned many stuff when was there also.
met new friends also.
most of them became my close friends nowadays.
2 of them, i can share most of my secrets with.
the other one, sometimes only share a little bit lah.
hehee. as he is a bit older than the other 2.
haha
because of this trip, it made me get closer with a few more band mates.
=)
starting of this year, practice like usual again.
then some sorta orientation day for the form 1s
was very successful that day.
haha. the number is BIG! HUGE!
lol
then like usual, training together, practice together..
then shocking news and etc etc..
then went workshop, learned many stuff in CG and percussion workshop.
met new friends also.
see "some people's" true side...
and get more closer with my band mates.
all this workshop and stuff, it really do helps.
haha
after the workshop..
more "girls' talk"
haha
say which guy nice, which guy not nice.
and which guy handsome, which not so good looking.
=P
then more rumours.
haha
guys do have their "men's talk" too.
lol
then practice like usual....
haha. i'm just happy that i chose and joined band.
gone through a lot of things.
doesnt matter its good things or bad things,
although sometimes i do hate bad things but i'll just take it.
it's the same when we graduate from high sch.
so, why dont learn it all now?!
